Okay I was just asking because I may be able to help you in the near future. I am building a large plywood aquarium in my garage for my big fish and could probably give them a home if need be. Just an option. I live in austin.

Wont be for long. Rtc's can hit 24" in the first year.
 
I don't know of the growth rate on those but Im guessing that it is pretty fast due to their potential massive size. Btw you should find a different tank for the lima shovelnose. They grow really slowly and he will soon disappear because he will be eaten.
