Coolest dovii

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
hybrids are somewhat along the same lines of mongrel dogs, so I'd call it rich of anyone to love onel and eschew the other...each to their own I guess though
Dogs are all one species though. All bred down from the common wolf.

In terms of fish, its like having a guppy thats regular, one thats dyed, another longfin, one with shortfins, and then some of those mixed together PLUS all the colors. But still the same species.

If I showed you this picture there is no way your going to be like this is a flowerhorn. Look at the resemblance.

I know, hence the "somewhat along the same lines"; its splitting straws really though, especially with the massive differences in dogs, they might as well be different species

I really think it looks like a fairly even split. I see some strong FH features but the Dovii is definitely there.

Breeding them back to dovii might be interesting. That said, it seems like the angle plays a big part in what features stick out.

Looked more flowerhorn than dovii to me until I saw that pic, but still... the red eyes, lack of dots down the body, purple coloring on top of body are still are off. Looks 50/50 to me now I think, still pretty nice fish.

I love it. I've always wanted to cross a Parachromis with some sort of Amph but haven't got a good pair yet. The fish looks good and will probably be a handful. I'm curious to the adult size, it would be something else at 18 inches.
