Cooper Creek Crisis

That calf was almost full grown and you would move like that if you almoust poked it in the eye with your fly rod. I still dont know how that brown didnt become stew in that puddle in the sun all day, but i guess hes lucky i was feeling generous that day and hawk eyes aka joe spotted him.

weve got the same problem. our creek is just a series of puddles. we found 5 catfish (4 flatheads 1 channel) all in a puddle too small for them to be all the way submerged. only problem is that the river is too far away to take them there

so get them out, put 'em in a bucket(s) and take 'em to the river. i'd do it...

good job with the save though, i was at my moms and the creek by her house was dried up except 4 a few puddles. i collected all the bluegill and chubs i could find and putall but a few of them in a large pool that formed deeper in the woods. the others i put in a swimming pool next door to eat all the mosquito larvae and bugs. when i left they looked like footballs, lol. and there still in there today. it rained a few days after i collected all the fish and the creek flowed again, but now its drying upo again, and im not there to save them...lol.
