I got my guy back in early June at a nice 2.75" or so. He's about 4" now. The orange is starting to come in full and his face is shining up a nice blue. I'll snap a picture this weekend for you Liz!

i like these guys also, you should see colors in about 3 months feed them sea-weed.you'll see colors sooner. i ordered 50 for this guy about 3 months ago he also likes them

Yeah, I really enjoy watching his progression.
In case anyone who is interested in my feeding,
twice a day, morning and 2-3hrs before lights out.
Morning- Tetra cichlid flakes with a mix of spirulina flakes
Evening- Hikari Excel and Cichlid Gold
*brine shrimp once a week

thats how i fed mine when he was young.. he is growing nice.. you will never get tired of his beauty.. they get more and more beautifull.. i think i will make my own thread now.. i have been hogging up the thread ..
