the tittle says it all , my showtanks has copepods , and 1 brownbanded shark .
i just wan't to know if i got problems on my hands ?
sites are saying yes .they can cause parasitic problems
and if they do ..
how do i get them out now !

Thanks for everything guys !

best idea woul be to take the shark out

I dont know why that would be a problem unless they multiply so bad the tank becomes over run with them. Get somekind of fish that will eat them up, if we are talking about the tiny little shrimp like creatures? Is this something attached to the sharks in the parisite form? A cleaner shrimp could help if the shark will let it.

Biggest question is what kind of copepods. Some are very good to have. Some will do damage to your shark. Are they on the shark's body? Can you get a picture?

copepods? They aren't problematic I believe. But I think some corals and pipefish will eat them.

I would get a large wrasse of some sort. He would probably love it and hopefully be swift enough to evade the shark.

That being said many wrasses sleep at night, and thats when many sharks hunt...
