They way that timer works is when the day is on the night is off. when the day goes off the night goes on. No seperate time just when one is off the other is on.

out of 10 coralife timers i sold i got 7 back.not the best coralife has put out.

Exactly. I have 5 and all work great. One even works as a powerhead controller for 4(2 on, 2 off) to switch water flow direction.

Press PRG then select the on time and day(s). Press PRG again to set off time.

repeat the steps for multiple on/off times.

I'm still confused,I want to have the daytime light from 12:00pm-7:00pm and have the moonlight from 7:00pm-10:00pm. I set the first yellow outlet(1)setting for mon-sun from 12:00pm and off at 7:00pm. Then I set the second blue outlet(2)setting for 7:00pm-10:00pm. and I want to have a powerhead timed off for a few hours each day from4:00pm-7:00pm. The first one(yellow outlet) comes on and goes off. the second one (blue outlet) comes on and will not go off. powerhead does not run on blue or yellow.

I bought a Zilla Dual Timer and it works! Yippie!!! I took the other back and spent 10.00 extra but it works all i have to do is feed the fish and clean the tank. What a relief the lights come on while im at work and go off while im asleep. Thanks for the info everyone!
