The UV Unit will have a flow rating. Do not use a pump, or put it inline on a filter, where the flow will exceed that rating.

the turbotwist says 200-400gph flowrate...and th emagdrive is 250gph... one says its ok to use spongefilter you say its not....SO WAT????? instead of saying what i cant do try telling me what i CAN Do

You are messed up.

I didn't mention anything about a sponge filter.

I just said, don't let the flow rate exceed the rate of the UV Unit.

hows about a maxijet powerhead that pushes 230 gph. will this be ok?

n hows the rating on maxijet compared to other powerheads?

how am i exceeding the flowrate? I said im planning on using th emagdrive 2 on the 18watt.... ARE YOU EVEN READING MY POSTS BEFORE RESPONDING? THANKS.

SO i plan on hookin the biggest sponge filter as inlet head to the pump which then leads to the sterilizer then BACK into tank. do u understand this willhay? So you are saying dont use a pump and connect it to a ' filter '.
