another question are 10,000k white lights ok for snakes have an extra i'm trying to use up dual light he has a heat pad so i'm not concerned about the heat just vitamine production

have three tens side by side 2 have wire tops and the third is glass with vent holes in the plastic sect looked this morning and found a grass lizard in the armadillo tank the grass guy has the glass top and tha arm a wire fiquired if he likes it there he can stay hopefully he wont become lunch sneaky little bugger

no aquarium light is even suffient enough for reptiles

get a bulb specially designed for reptiles

i suggest zoomed repti-sun flouresent bulbs

Go to the pharmacy and get a product called Betadine, its a surgical scrub works wonders. Make sure your keep his house clean use clean paper or a Carefresh product for bedding

Heat is good while your snake is healing (I'd suggest 75-80F), but light is unnecessary. Snakes don't work the way most other reptiles do; they don't need UV light for vitamin production.
