With filtration that particular tank is over 2,100 gallons.... I'll post pics of that if anyone is interested.

Could you show the filtration and the 1600 gallon? Never seen such a large tank specifically for bichirs before

Current 180 gallon Quarantine tank. Normally what I do is Quarantine newly acquired bichirs in a 180 gallon for two months... then move to a 360 gallon Quarantine tank for another two months. That way if I have to medicate... it's done in these small tanks and not in a 2k gallon system. The small bichirs then go to a 1,000 gallon tank and the big boys go in a 1,600 Gallon tank.

Aye! Some cut and dry “protocol”… was asking a while ago what everyones precautions were with new polys and it was crickets lol… happy to hear ur routine ??. Do you prefer medicating ur food or the water column?
