Theres a cornish jack at my lfs im thinking about getting it but like most eletric fish do they hide alot an are they mostly nocturnal. Ive had 5 other types of electric fish an they never really hid alot i think i got lucky with them tho. The one at the store never leaves a pipe he just sits there I would think he would do the same in my tank.

your best bet of seeing it is to have a bare bottom tank without hiding place, though i don't recommend it when housing a juvenile.
