I'm setting up a new tank this weekend and I'd like to give it a "beach" theme. My question is, I have a thoroughly cleaned Corona beer bottle that I'd like to fill with water (so it sinks) and a cork. Will this present any problems? The label is printed on the glass so there wont be a problem with glue peeling or anything like that. What do you think?

I'm also open for tank decor ideas! (pics too!)

I always wanted to get a bottle of some top shelf champagne and put an air stone in the bottom so it was always releasing bubbles like it had been opened underwater. That and drink the champagne, of course

I couldn't see it causing any problems.

Agreed, provided it was thoroughly washed. If not, your fish might be a little woozy for a few days...:D

It'll be fine:) Been there, done that:D

Me too, in fact I had a Corona Bottle in my tank in college.
