correct water temp ?

I use the lcd stick on the glass now , and have a automotive temp probe that i use to check the accuracy of the readings

sorry for the misunderstanding.... i was talking about the digital temp stick on which i think is the same was the small LCD digital temp :) not something too expensive... don't have the $$. :D
 
always shoot for 78, but i figure i'll give 80 a shot in the coming weeks. This thread now has me interested in how much of a change 2 degrees in temp will affect my fish.

quite a bit in some speices more agreesive feeding in some breeding in others ect
i had one tank at room temp when i decided to keep it cosistent at 80 colors came alive move movement great stuff to vary temps once in a while just give the fish a change also..

it depends on the fish and your own preference imo. i have my arowana tank at 78-80ºF and my ray tank at 84-85ºF
