Corrugated Pond Tubing Connections

Hi,

I saw earlier thread on using corrgated pond tubing to replace the fluval fx6 tubing.

Do these parts connect well together? Do you use teflon tape on plastic NPT threads?

These parts also for perhaps future diy pond filter. What is a good valve in between these?

No clue, but I have to say I hate corrugated tubing. It gets filthy both inside and outside and a PITA to clean.

I still run two tanks with a bit, but they too are destined to change soon.

I've had pool hose, cheap pool hose, fancy spa hose. I prefer smooth hose or pipe 100x.
