Earlier today, I noticed two very small (.5") copies of my 5 larger Corydoras Loxozonus. Apparently, they have been spawning in concert with the 7 C. Sterbai they are housed with!
They are in a 29g planted tank with two 129gph powerheads fitted with sponges and venturi, and one airstone attached to a small pump.
Temperature is 80 degrees, ph 6.8, 1/3 water change a week with half a cap of blackwater extract.
pics to come soon! as soon as I find my data transfer cable...
total stocking list:
Corydoras Loxozonus 7
C. Sterbai 7
Pseudogastromyzon Cheni 3
Beaufortia Kweichowensis 2
Amano Shrimp ~10
ghost shrimp ~10
cherry shrimp ~5
asian filter shrimp 1
if anyone else has heard of someone else breeding c. loxozonus, please share!
