So many species look alike. It is hard to tell which species it is.
Exactly. Checked planet catfish and too many look like the same fish. Im good with being in the ball park thanks man

Thx man. I thought they looked like punctatus as well. The pics PCF looked so similar.

I'll try and get better pics
 
I thought mine were punctatus, but was told they were Corydora Lecumelas. Not sure why pasting the link to my thread zeroed in on the one paragraph. I'm still not 100%, really nice looking fish though. How many do you have?

No the thread was helpful. Anything is better than my lack of knowledge lol


I needed some active fish to help with a really small shy datnoid so i grabbed 3 of these and a handful of black skirts. Within 15 minutes the little dat was out and about. Dont worry they combination wont be together for too long

Just goes to show you how unreliable google can be.
There’s a lot of misinformation.
Depending on what pages come up.

Look at the first photo that says it’s punctatus looks identical to your picture.
But if you look at the next Photo down from planet catfish you see what punctatus actually looks like.
