Update:

Great News...finally fry! I found 6 fry earlier today but sadly 5 of them died and the 6th got injured just from me getting them out of the breeder net. That net I had was a real pain so I'm done using it and I'm now using a breeder box instead. I didn't have a splitter for the box (it's external) so I improvised and made a prefilter using the sponge filter as a source (pretty smart, for me anyway :D). There's now 3 or 4 viable eggs and a fry that's injured but might pull through in a breeding box and I'm eagerly awaiting more eggs.

Just got a very large spawn today that took a few hours. I have a total of around 40 eggs now and I'm hoping I can get at least 6 fry for my local fish club BAP them the rest will be for sale.

Update:

Came home today to find 6 live fry in the breeder box! Don't know when they were born but their egg sacs are still pretty big so I'm waiting until tomorrow night or Friday afternoon to feed them. I'm really hoping all 6 live because my local fish club's BAP says you have to have at least 6 fry to turn in for a species unless it's something very rare with small brood records. As soon as I get some more hatches (which I'm counting on) the fry will be available to you guys for those interested.

Nice! Didn't think you'd be succesful so quickly, congrats :)

Thanks! I would've had a lot more fry sooner but for some reason just 95% of the eggs the parents lay are layed infertile. I think this time maybe a different male "got into it" with the female :).

Well I came home to 2 of the fry missing and 1 dead so I'm down to 3 fish now unfortunately. Hopefully I get some more before December for BAP.

Ok so every fry has disappeared. Not dead, just gone completely. Got a spawn of 20 eggs 2 days ago so I'm hopeful they all hatch (yeah right with my luck :)).

Still nothing guys, been getting several spawns today but they all look infertile. I'm just about ready to rap up this project and sell the group to somebody who just wants some display Corys, I'd keep them if I had room but I don't other than in this tank.

So I'm going to out it to a vote with you guys. Should I either:
1) Keep the Corys and just use them as scavengers in my guppy breeding tank? OR
2) Sell the Corys in mid Dec (gpasi meeting) for probably around $15-20 and use the money to get a breeding group of something else like sterbai Corys, S. petricola, Ancistrus, etc?

Update:

Just got a spawn of 30 yellowish eggs the other day and not one hatched. I'm pretty much done trying to breed this specific group and now I'm using the eggs as high protein fish food :).
