How many of you have a tank with some corydoras in it? Cories are a very popular fish and do a great job of cleaning, don't hide, have personality, social, and of course don't bother any other fish. These little catfish are one of my favorite species, and that's why I have almost a whole tank devoted for them. I have 25 corydoras in this tank, 2 adult peppered, 3 sterbai, 1 albino sterbai, 5 leopard, 4 heraldshultzi and 10 baby peppered. My two peppered cories breed atleast once a week, giving me about 50-100 eggs each time, one of these times I collected a few and raised them, I got about 50 to hatch, and about 15 to not fall through the cracks on this junky breeding trap. Of those 15, 10 made it to the 3 weeks age, once they hit this age I put them in their own tank and amazingly all 10 made it to the size seen in the pictures. The two peppered adults are pushing 6 years old, which is amazing, and even more amazing is how healthy they are and how much they spawn. Anyways enough blabbering, enjoy the pics, and I hope most of you get to experience this neat little catfish.

Nice corys!

I keep Green Aneus corys with my Gouramis & Angels. I love the little guys. Every morning when I turn on the light, they're lined up staggered like a biker gang outside of a bar. Great little fish!

I want some of these! theyre so cool, seen them on the internet and in real life in fish shops. But my stock restricts me :/. Gar, rtc, oscars :s.. maybe one day ill get some of these ;) i want some clown loach sometime too!

Very cool little fish, got a group of 8 bronze cories running around in my only tank that has smaller fish. Want to try some others out just haven't decided on what variety yet.

I have about 10-14 Green Aneus corys and a couple pepper variations.

I had a few Brochis but they died off... I seem to have bad luck with them. Shame, I like them alot.

Cool little catfish. I had a bronze cory and a leopard julie in my first fish tank. A five gallon metraframe loaded with guppies. I remember the catfish lived 7 years I was 10 when I got them and they died right when I was a senior in high school.

that's not a swarm, this is a swarm.
little dark, but it was their first day.

Haha nice C. melanistius? Yeah, there's what, a dozen there? I have 25 together so mines more of a swarm haha ;) Mine don't really do that since there is a variety of size and species, even if I did transfer them to a new tank, which is what I assume happened here. When breeding the C. haraldschultzi and the C. trilineatus school together and swim up and down the tank, but other then that they just do their own thing. When I clean the tank though, most of them group together in a corner, now that's a swarm haha. Anyways, nice corys.

Corydoras melanistius mostly, I bought a dozen but there are 3 of different species, and one of my males caught himself in a chunk of wood and died.
cories en mass are very cool. it would be sweet to see a bigger group shot of yours.
