Corydoras Swarm!

I have some Sterbai's and love them. Really fun to watch them "go crazy" swimming all over the place.

That it would, I think a video would be best since they are constantly moving and dont want to cooperate all the time haha, but how can you blame them. Sorry to hear about your male. Have you tried to breed yours at all? Breeding cories is tons of fun and not too difficult, I recently had some sterbai/trilineatus fry, unfortunatly they didn't make it. Would be interesting to see an adult hybrid of this mix.

I went so far as daily water changes with cooler water and increased live/frozen foods, but never set them up in their own tank or anything. didn't seem to do much, but it did make the male pygmy cories randy. the females weren't as excited.

I have 8 wc sterbai and I love em. I love watching them drop there eggs all over the glass....to be eaten. As soon as my extra 55 is cycled they are getting that for just them. See how many offspring come out of it. I think my favorite thing they do is cruise all over the glass in a troop of all 8 of them. They always stick together...which is funny when a pair is dropping eggs.

I have one green, one albino, and one leopard. I never see them anymore, they're always hiding. They hardly even come out to eat these days

probably because-
1)not enough cories, they like crowds.
2)diffferent kinds of cories, they aren't bigots, but they prefer their own species most of the time.
3)wrong kind of hides available. open space shielded from the top has worked best for me. if they have something to hide under they'll be much more relaxed than if they have something to hide behind.
