cost of a saltwater tank?

how much would it cost for me to turn my nano tank into a 55 gallon?
+ I have the filters
+ I have the skimmer
+ I have the tank/ sand
+ I have about 20lbs of lr
+ I have the lights
+ I have (most of) the livestock
+ I have hydrometer
+ I have a heater

- I dont have a quality salt (whats a good one red sea?)
- I dont have enough sand

Is it worth it???

Get caribea sand , a forty pound bag should cover the tank with a decent sand bed. Other than that what else do you need? With a FOWLR twenty pounds of liverock is enough.

like 30 dollars depending on bagsize

just get regular sand it will become alive with time.

it will be a small cycle, you probably won't notice.

be extra careful when transfering your sand, depend how long your tank was setup alot of waste will be freed when moving it.
