I only fast my fish 1 day a week. It all depends on how heavy you feed and how often. Just my experience so far. My bullhead could eat half a bag of carnivore himself lol.

While I've got everyone here and instead of making other threads. What do you guys use for filtration in ponds with big cats or big fish in general? I was planning on making a DIY filter or two out of large PVC and/or a large bucket. And, how often should I do WCs, 50% every other week?
If you have a tank large enough to call a pond then a drip system is the only way to go
As for the other comments about only feeding twice per week I could never do that or my fish would kill each other
With mixed comm tanks the way to make it work is loads of food

large pred catfish and rays are 2 different things, i feed my rays 1-3 times a day every day so i understand where ur coming from... u were just talking about not overfeeding tigrinus in another thread and im only agreeing with that for large cats across the board. To each their own i suppose, every case is different.

Yes your right I don't over feed as small amounts daily are better than 1 big feed once per week
