I'm going to miss your big pink guy :-( But can definitely appreciate wanting the community - good luck. The nigrofasciata will likely try to breed w/ one of the nic females. I've given up on keeping them in my tank - just almost always causing conflict.
I have been hit and miss with them, some solo males have been well behaved some have been a nightmare, going to leave it out though. Thanks.

I think the stock list sounds great. If you are worried about the Convict male being a bully, you could swap it out with a T-bar (C. Sajica). I think they are better looking than convicts, and have read they are more mild mannered, but have yet to own them personally

Sajica are one of my favourites, my last male was a stunner. Generally more chilled out than convicts but still able to look after themselves.
Has crossed my mind of adding one again.

Sounds like an interesting Costa Rican "themed" tank. I'd agree with the rest and say definitely leave out the con. If you aren't sold on the multispinosa perhaps consider C. sajica? I have kept and bred all three species: nics, multis, and sajica. The nics were by far my favorite.

Edit: Did not see that C. sajica were suggested already. Only read through the first page..
