Well, I thought the multi pikes were big enough to hang with Mr. P-Bass. Guess not...

April fools!!

They are resting comfortably in their temporary home of 60 gallons. The tank is not much to look at but the pikes are chowing down on frozen blood worms. No pellets taken yet but I'm hopeful. My acutirostris pikes were on pellets in under a week.

They mostly hang out under the driftwood. Each has it's own little spot. So far zero aggression but I'm sure that'll change as they mature.

Pics to follow shortly. :grinno:

OK, they are crap photos. The fish are hiding under driftwood so this is about as good as it is going to get for a while.

The first is the big male. He's about 6"

These next two are of the smaller male. Honestly, I think this fish is going to grow up to be a stunner and much nicer than the large male.

No pics of the female yet. Her chosen spot is "unphotographable". As soon as she moves around I'll snap some of her.

HA HA - 'hang out with Mr. P. Bass'

Congrats on the multi's Mark! You are one of the lucky few...
(crap pics are better than none) keep us up-dated on events & growth.
Best of luck with the new beauties!

I was going to be really surprised if you pulled something as stupid as that with these awesome pikes! LoL!

Glad they are doing great! That smaller male is stunning for sure!! Heck, they BOTH are! Can't wait to see the lady! :)

That would have been a terrible loss.
