Depends...but really the only thing that's important is that you can't keep them together.

Agree anything with any piranha in general is on borrowed time.. Any species of Serra piranha are slow growing and makes them not only match for any tank mates because of aggressiveness but also because of slow growth. Talking from 6"+ only .5-1" every year.

Interesting. Okay I won't get into vs crap, but I bet an adult giant snakehead could kill an adult rhom. Snakeheads are like sharks almost, damn.

If you know they are kept as single specimens why would you even question it?
We are monster fish KEEPERS, not monster fish fighters.

I bet you sharks with lazer beams attached to their heads could kill a snake head, damn.

To the Q ?
A Black Rohm "WILL" Kill Another Fish In It's Tank . "I DID IT"
But If you put a baby black rohm in with a mature oscar than YES it will get
ate . Do not wast money to find out , But if you must
tell us witch way you want -------Big rohm small oscar ?
OR Big oscar and small rohm ?
Remember a Black Rohm Will Grow S_____L_____O______W________ .
Oscar grow fast .

Sorry but a Rhombeus is a single specimen fish. Some people have luck with smaller schooling fish being housed with sub-adult+ Rhoms but thats it.
Trying to figure out a way for an oscar or anything else to co-hab with a Rhombeus is a recipe for disaster.
