Around
My big guy started acting wierd a couple days ago. Kept lodgeing himself behind some drift wood in the tank and cutting himself up). Which I still need to take out. This morning he appeared to have bashed his nose last night and seems somewhat disoriented. I will see how he is when I get home tonight.

How's he doing? Any updates?
Fingers crossed...

OK well, I am not sure if it is too late for this or not, but I need to seperate them. I am just hoping the one doesn't die from shock of transfer. I have tried everything from water changes (water params were perfect anyway), temp increade, took out everything except one small plant, salt, garlic, covering the tank, keeping the lights on, keeping them off and they continue to bash their face. At this rate I might lose both, so tonight I will have them seperated. i am not sure what else to do. They hang around each other like everything is ok. I did however just notice a slight amount of aggression when I was peeking into the room. Spying on them lol. They always seem fine when io am present. I do see a very small puncture wound on the big guy down by his anal fin, bu I am not sure if it's from his buddy or not.

I can't recall off hand, but maybe they are developing sexually? I thought they were still too small for that, but that is possible where some aggression could be coming from. I think the last resort id here and that is seperation. Not sure if it will help or not. Will keep ya posted.

u need to get other fish for them to mess with instead of eachother.

I agree ^^

it sounds like a nice big school of dithers would help out alot.

Well, I moved "Armatus" (the big one) into the 75 today. He is around 15" and pretty thick... What ashame. I think I waited to long. He seems very disoriented. You know like when fish are gonna die. "Fang" (sorry Vamp) seems to be a little less stressed already and could possibly make a full recovery. I am ashamed of myself to have let this go on for so long... I feel as if I tried everything. They seemd to show no aggression towards each other when I am around. They are side by side all the time. I am assuming this is possibly the problem just because i have tried everything thing else. Even stuff that I know would'nt make a difference.
I have to apologize to our community for being such an idiot. Trust me my punishment is already at hand :(
Anyway i will get some picutres up of the horrid situation whenever I can pull my h#*d out of my ***....

BTW Vamp did you ever have any issues with your bare tank and reflections?? Maybe this damn Starfire is messing with these guys???

I hate to say it but... you didnt think of this before you got the Armatus (the tank not big enough)? As much as I love Armatus and miss my old guy, I knew I was not going to end up getting my Monster tank this year or next... so I had to let him go before he hurt himself in my tank or I got more attatched to him.

I think 90% of everyone that has an Armatus right now will most likely end up selling their big boy for cheap or it will end up dead from bashing itself (All JMO).

I would try dithers too thou... something that moves a lot like Red Hooks?

G/L with them big dogg... im hopping you can pull it off with them :)
