I have always feed my fry 4 to 5 times a day.

I say its good for them keeps themstr and less prone todisease

I change 50% of the water daily on most of my fry tanks. The object is to remove dissolved organics, rotting brine shrimp/fry food, etc. I've had problems with cichlid fry that I didn't keep up with water changes on. My severum fry got a 50% - 75% water change daily. They're a couple months old now and about 1.5" long. They're perfectly healthy and eating everything.

I don't see how clean water could lead to problems with any fish, as long as you don't stress them by using water that's a different pH/hardness/temperature with each water change. If the parameters are constant, it shouldn't hurt them or negatively affect them in any way. Just my opinion.

I think your feeding schedule is great. The water changes should actually increase the size and overall health of your fish and health. Just make sure that you don't lose too much beneficial bacteria with your water changes.
