If you would have asked me this question I would have said, "Not a chance" but now that I'm looking at these photos...

Do you guys think it's really possible for these two to breed?? The eggs have been there for 3 days and you can clearly see the ones which weren't fertilized because, naturally, they are turning white.

Not to mention the fact that the Red Bay looks to immature to fertilize...

I don't know. Here's the pics. Opinions welcome...

LOL!

Are those white eggs mixed in?

IF so aren't the white ones supposed to be removed from Parrot batches? Sorry forgot where I read it :(

Really not sure if they are to be removed or not. All I know is that the white ones are "Moldy" or something to that extent.

I've never removed any white eggs from any other batches I've had with other fish and have had no problem. If you can find the article, share it with me please. :)

I plan on keeping the fry but I am not going to harvest the eggs to do it. I'll wait until they have their egg sacs and scoop them up then.

I am very interested to see how they are going to turn out so I'll keep you guys updated as well.

Anyone had anything similar to this happen with parrots and other fish? I thought parrots were supposed to be sterile. :irked:

Really....

OK I am burnign the brain for the article :)
