I like when Oscars look like that. The pattern and form looks a lot better than most common adults that I see. A friend of mine picked up one that looks like yours and as it grew the striking patterns changed until it looked like a Tiger Oscar. It would be great if yours kept its current appearance. I think the best looking Os are the wild-caught or F1 specimens. They are far removed from the ones that you see in most LFS and their color and patterns look amazing. Yes it would be nice if it stayed this color. But no matter what Willow turns out looking like he is here to stay.
He is already learned I have the food and begs all the time. lol So hope since my other O is so laid back (even lets angelfish live in the tank) that I have no problems when he is large enough to go in the 75 gallon tank. Ill be moving the angels out when I do that.

Yep these are not my first. We had one in a 55 for 6 years then moved to a 75 for the last four. He was 16 inch's and 10 years old when he passed. I do twice a week water changes on all my tanks.
 
Dude im in your shoes i found a wild looking patter baby and couldnt say no either. Yours is too cute. Mine doesnt have orange either.
