Isn't a pacu like a piranha? And if so why doesn't it eat any fish? I have gold fish and some danio's in it and it doesn't go after them

It's a 60 gallon tank why?

because they get 3 feet long. suppoedly theyr herbivores and wont eat your fish though.

A pacu is related to piranha but doesn't eat fish for the most part, more of a friendly fish. He asked tank size because that fish will need probably 500g range for its full grown size..

Do yourself a favor and read my very first post. And then find the fish a new home, unless if you have a monster tank planned for the next few months.

That's weird.. the guy said he owned it for almost 5 years.. either I have a midget or he just said that to get rid of it because his tank was to small
