could this be a trimac?

ive already asked some people of wht this is but havent got the exact answer yet. some people said tht it's a low grade RD but some say a trimac. which one? :) i think it's a trimac but wht do u guys say?

The general rule these days is if you don't know where it came from, you don't know, and should just call it a FH, sadly
 
You can't tell just by looking. If it was sold as a flowerhorn, than that is what you have to assume. Otherwise the true verified trimac genetics may get watered down if you decide to breed it and distribute fry. It however will act just like a trimac and since it does look like one, I wouldn't worry about it being a flowerhorn unless you want to breed. Nice looking fish.

Yes you can bro..

FHs not messing it up for Trimacs..

It is ppl don't know how to ID fish. Yeah there will be hybrids but you will be able to tell; that is the point of hybridizing. Some percentage of traits will be shared in the fish and it will look off.

I think it's just lfs ignorance. I can not see it as a FH. Because it isnt.

Here's a my old so called low grade FH. High quality back in the days :) hehehaha
