could this be a trimac?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yes you can bro..

FHs not messing it up for Trimacs..

It is ppl don't know how to ID fish. Yeah there will be hybrids but you will be able to tell; that is the point of hybridizing. Some percentage of traits will be shared in the fish and it will look off.

I think it's just lfs ignorance. I can not see it as a FH. Because it isnt.

Here's a my old so called low grade FH. High quality back in the days :) hehehaha

But what if I take that fh ^ and X it to a female Trimac? ohhhhhhh ....... Heavy Trimac FH x Trimac.. U never know. so that can contradict my side of the story also..............

Exactly. Without knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt, you have to assume flower horn. I have seen flowerhorns that are 100% verified flowerhorns that look like trimacs, and I mean just like a trimac. You can't always tell just by looking. But so what, it's a nice fish. Low grade/quality flowerhorn does not mean low quality fish. In fact I like them better than most high end flowerhorns.

yup, i agree with u guys. it was sold as a flowerhorn, and one of the weirdest thing i have ever heard is when the seller said tht it's a crossbreed between a flowerhorn and a grouper fish. hahah seems impossible ehh?
i'll just wait wht it looks like when it reaches adult size. :) btw, thank u guys once again.
