my tank broke and now i cant set my large tank up in my room so im gonna try this if my dad will let me. If he wont let me set my 55 up i was gonna buy a 40 gallon breeder. I'm gonna house 2 bichirs and either a jag or EBJD in the tanks. It will only be temporary like 2-4 months im hoping till i move out.. Anyone???

How big are they? If the bichirs are senegal, they can live in a 55, and a jag is going to need a larger tank.
i have my bichirs is a spare tank at my fiances house and i wanna get the fish used to each other b4 the bichirs get bigger. Is a jag ok or should i shoot for something else?
its going to be a 75-90 gallon probably. I have a 125 but I'm not sure about setting that up just yet.
I'd get a 40 breeder for the short term.Just overfilter it and keep up with the water changes.It's less water,but the bigger footprint would be better IMO.
I guess if that's what you want to do, but if I were you I'd keep the bichirs in the 40g and wait on the Jag. What if you get him, but then plans change and you don't get a bigger tank?
