I've been keeping Aros and Fronts in the same tank for a few years now.My first Aro was a silver that I kept with a group of Mpimbwe Fronts for about 4 years until the silver finally jumped out one day. I now have a group of Kapampa Fronts with a black aro and they have been together for over a year now.The pH is around 7.8 and the tank is 480 gal. Here are a coupl of pics.

Oh I forgot to mention some of the Fronts are over a foot and I believe the Aro is aprox. 18".
 
an it be done, yes. Would I, NO. So since you are interested in this please keep us up to date. Also you will get far less flake here, but be careful if posting this in other African sections.
 
I'm really not certain If I'm going to try this.
I might not even be setting up a 180.
I'll probably be setting up a 75G for a WAL, and I dont think it would be a good idea to put any fronts in that tank.
