The baby pics were August 09 and the Avatar pic was towards the back end of last year so just over a year old there. I moved all my fish about because I got a new tank to split some up and I took the opportunity to measure them.

The edges of the fins are still light and as far as I am aware that means they are still growing!

They are in a tank with a black background now and they seem to have gotten a lot darker around the orange/red pattern. I'll get a pic but only have a phone camera.
 
My newest baby tiger oscar looks just like yours! Slightly silver/blue but he's growing into a teenager now and turning a little more golden. Soon he'll get his bright orange and start taking over the tank. :)

Also, CODzilla - Your oscar has an amazing pattern on its side! Awesome circle right on the left side. Love it!
 
Hi nice oscar i have 4 of them and thay all looked like that little guy or 2 of them did i hope you enjoy the little guy as he grows fast.
 
I just picked one up the other day...I couldn't help it either. I finally have a large enough tank to keep one and have thinned out my stock to fish with personality!!! Good luck with yours, what are you feeding him?
 
for right now I am feeding him some crumb food because he has trouble eating the hikiria large pellets I have for my other fish. I also toss in some diced shrimp every now and hten.
