But yes rays never win other than that one time. I entered last month to no avail either. :( No love for the ray guys unless you have Aros or Pbass with a black background. Or some predator with another fish in its mouth. Maybe next time I will feed my rays my last Geo and take a pic with it cloaked.

Really? I know he won a few but there is no ray winner in the archived winners threads?
 
Went through all the past POTM archives till my eyes crossed and couldn't even find the pic. I know he had an entry and could have sworn he won with it. I remember commenting on it as he has won with other pics and a POTY also. Oh well,
 
can we do our own potm in the ray section ? I think we all visit the ray section. lol If I had known you were in it I would have voted.
 
Guess your right TB. Just heard from him and he didnt win. So we ray keepers are 0 for. Guess we should flood them with nothing but ray photos so members dont have a choice. We probably still lose to a goldfish or guppy.

Lets team up and get as many ray entries in each contest as we can. Bound to have an impact at some point and turn the tide against the common entries. Make sure you guys do not give a heads up on the forum who's pic is who's though OK. That breaks one of the rules for the contest and I don't want to see anyone disqualified over it.

What do you think we can do to promote the contest better? We slacked off for a while and I think people stopped checking in that section but that's just my opinion. It feels like there were a lot more pics and votes in years past? Open to any suggestions and I will pass them along to the staff who run the contest. Feel free to PM if you don't want to post.

very impressive photo and ray! im in the same boat as you man, my pics never come close to winning! I usualy like to enter "Pravus" my tesselata as he lets me take the best photos. i guess not many people here are Moray lovers like me :(
