I love tetras because just about anywhere you go to buy fish, 60% of the time you can find some odd ball fish that find their way into the shipments of more popular ones (besides Petsmart, I don't know who sends them their shipments, but I have yet to find an oddball fish in their stock). Anyways, I fancy myself a breed-a-holic when it comes to identifying most known types and whenever I see one that I don't know, I buy them and try to figure out what they are. So was the case with the 'Counterfeit Silver Tetra', eventhough they weren't oddball fish thrown in with a different shipment, they were ones that I hadn't seen before and the guy at the store said that they had had them for like 6 months and no one was buying them. There were three of them and they were quite healthy and cheap so I picked them up. They go nicely with my 3 Red Hooks, although they are no where near my hooks' size.
