Great aquarium
When I was 15 I had the good fortune to be a volunteer the summer before they opened.
I crawled around the perimeter of the rainforest collecting nuts and bolts leftover from construction.
Got to throw sand into a couple of the 5000 gallon displays

They're stunning specimens.

I believe that once they get to that size they stop spitting at insects and bugs on overhanging branches......and begin targeting monkeys instead, lol.

I believe they could easily Knock off a spider monkey at 50 paces.
My hand is in front of the glass, so its just the opposite of the fisherman photo ruse, holding it out front to make the fish bigger, these guys are actually bigger than the photo makes them out to be.
There's a 3 ft Saratoga in the upper left corner.

I don't live here, I live in Panama, just a temporary visit for a little trip to Johns Hopkins.
