The female needs to be very very fat and able to withstand the punishment the male will give her when she gives off chemicals which will tell him she is ready. Very important you feed her ALOT and make her fat. If she is too small or not able to fend him off when she needs to, he will kill her. So be prepared. She ideally needs to be bigger than him but making her fat will help tremondously.
