Not expensive........ Exotic. It's better then the LFS cookie cutter fish that everyone has seen 500 times.

Exotic is expensive, rare, and collectible. It's the same difference. But I have to agree a freshwater tank is a lot nicer with exotic species than the cookie cutter from LFS.

that's not what I ment I should have been a little clearer. they are not expensive b/c expensive is a relative term in fish keeping. You may think they are expensive. but J thinks they are exotic. And with exotic comes a price and when you are not willing to pay that price it becomes expensive.

So if you can afford it it's not expensive it's exotic. and when you can't afford it it's expensive.

Everyone thinks something is expensive. No one has enough money to have everything.

Nice fish! I do think they would look better and your Irwini might be a bit more active if you threw some driftwood in there. Something to make some caves and slight divisions in the tank. I'd still leave it bare bottom.
