So ive been redoing my cichlid tank. Sand, new filter, and real ornaments.

Heres an update with some pics, still need to get some more rocks and to get these plant kickin' again.

enjoy.

group photo!

My main homie, Lyric (bumbleebee cichlid). He went through my cycle. I was a noob when i did this tank, but now everything if fine and he's doing amazing.

Bumble Bee cichlid and my red zebra. the camera doesnt do them justice. these too were the only ones being extremely photogenic tonight.

Full tank shot, but like i said it still a work in progress and ill update this thread when i feel it is finished.

stock list is anyone is curious:
1 of each: Bumblebee, red zebra, snow white scolofi, ngara peacock, yellow lab, and a rock krib. (all males)
3x ottos
1x temporary clown loach, for the snails.

oh and by the way the bags of gravel to the right of the tank and the bio wheel are for bio filtration right now until the sand gets seeded and the new filter gets goin. Both will be removed in a month.

Nothing too expensive I hope. . . it's just not worth it for the money it costs.

Right now they are are on a little bit of everything. Hikiari Cichlid Gold pellets, krill, ghost shrimp now and then, frozen brine, frozen beefheart, these pigs will eat anything.

I havent spent a whole of money for food on these guys, i got a nice hook up and working at a local pet shop doesnt hurt either. But that's not true, i think it is worth it for happy, healthy, and colorful fish.

thank you, i never realized exactly how great his color was until i put the new light on and it was love ever since.
