Beautiful tank! What kind of substrate (sand) did you buy? Would you change anything in your set up? I am setting up a 75 gallon and thought about black sand partial crushed coral for my Cichlids but I am thinking it will be too dark. The white looks beautiful. Do you also use canister filtration?

I used quickcrete pool filter sand from Home Depot... I sometimes wish I would've went with black diamond but I am for the most part happy with the white sand choice. No canister, I have 2 sump.. 1 65 gallon packed with filter floss & Pond Matrix, which drops to a 200 gallon rubber maid tub befor wit pumps back up to the main tank.

nice set up . Very very nice texas under those lights ! Ive never had luck with those for some strange reason.
