Couple Qs on freshwater rays by a noob to rays

i have seen 18" histrix and according to the stingray aqualog they get just as big as motoros. and histrix tend to be more sensitive than motoros in my experience.

The aqualog book is far from perfect.

Where have you seen the 18" histrix? I have never heard of one over 14". A breeder size female is 11" in diameter. Are you sure it was a histrix?
