I have used Repashy for fresh water fish, and find they are ravenous about it.
In regard to the temperament of herbivores, I find them much more aggressive than carnivores, the carnivores attack to eat, herbivores defend and hold territorial feeding and breeding zones whether salt water reef dwellers or Tanganykan cichlids.

I constantly see info stating a pair of Jack Dempseys will be comfortable in a 75 gal, yet when I snorkel in their natural habitat, they hold a territory the size of an SUV and chase any other cichlid from it, while ignoring live bearers and other noncompetitors.
In a cenote, the loser has somewhere to go, in a tank, there isn't, especially in a small tank like a 75 gal, which is at best, a glorified puddle.
In my opinion, standard minimum tank sizes are at best wishful thinking, and at their worst, cruel and unusual punishment.
