Couple requests...have you ever got these in??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hey my old friend.
How bout connecting me to someone you might know that can get me a 20 inch rhom. I'm still looking after all these years! You know who!

Yeah I listed the clarias sp. as being from african "zaire river zimbabwe". Thanks for chiming in though oddball.... have you ever owned any of these?

I've kept many clarid cats before they were banned. I've been in the hobby since before 'restricted species' lists were 1st developed.

haha, Mr. 911, one day my friend! not sure what your facination is with it, but I feel you. Also a 24" manueli would be nice too :)

Hey Wes, thank you very much for your detailed responses, I forgot that esox sp. were illegal in cali.... How would you pull that off? I have a few more fish I'd like to see if you could bring in... mind If I post in the same fashion I did with the others? Thanks a bunch.-Ryan

I can export fish to other states and distribute from there for Esox,
sure you can post up other cool stuff, I never turn down cool finds.

Well here goes the rest:

Boulengerella Cuvieri, Bicuda, Rio Teles Pires Brazil.

Silurus Aristotellis, Greek Catfish, Lake lysimachia Greece

Wallago Micropogon, (none other then Scientific name), Mekong River Laos

Hemibargus Microphthalmus, Irrawaddy Mystus Catfish, Salween River system Thailand

Wallago Maculatas, Segama River Malaysia

Gobiomorus Dormitor, Bigmouth sleeper, Rio Sarapiqui Costa Rica

Sander Lucioperca, Zander, Danube River Austria

Thanks for looking at all of these of for me and letting me know about the possibility of some of them coming into the hobby via Rare Fish. I can definitely understand your frustration but the way, as its not easy to find this stuff and get it back here alive. The only other request I have that I'm sure would be a big hit in the states would be Short Bodied RTC's which I've been seeing a lot of in asian tanks from being on predatory fish keepers. Thanks again.-Ryan

Boulengerella Cuvieri, Bicuda, Rio Teles Pires Brazil.
I've had them on several occasions, and even a 24" one, check out fugupuff on youtube there is a video of it with all the other stuff.

Silurus Aristotellis, Greek Catfish, Lake lysimachia Greece

Pretty neat, had to look it up, but not sure its even different enough for anyone to notice the difference.

Wallago Micropogon, (none other then Scientific name), Mekong River Laos

not sure if there is a big differnce from wallago leeri, which has been a few times.

Hemibargus Microphthalmus, Irrawaddy Mystus Catfish, Salween River system Thailand

that looks ok., not bad.

Wallago Maculatas, Segama River Malaysia

pretty cool

Gobiomorus Dormitor, Bigmouth sleeper, Rio Sarapiqui Costa Rica

gonna be a hard sell, looks almost just like any other sleeper goby.

Sander Lucioperca, Zander, Danube River Austria

same as walleye, but maybe bigger, i've seen this fish twice already, I will bring some in, in the future.
