The big motoro has produced about 5 litters, she is on vacation right now :)

the bigger they (fire eels) get the more active. mine is almost always out, and rarely hides. but did on this video. Mine is around 28"+ had him for 4+ years. I had to move him from the other tank as he almost killed my tigrinus for some reason.

Cool, thanks for the info...my 2 yr old daughter goes beserk every time the fire eel comes out...she loves to watch him feed.

I wouldnt have thought a Fire Eel would have noticed a Tig but I guess at 28 inches the Fire Eel could see the Tig as a similar eel shaped competition?
