Like most eleotridae they can take quite large fish.

He is about 10" and I'm wondering when it would be safe to put my new 2" redtail in with him without being eaten. My redtail is with my community fish right now but that is not going to last for more than a month or so . I think I will be setting up another tank in between that move.

he loves massavore. 3 at time one gulp. He was eating koi food at the LFS. He was eating the Plecos big algea wafers the other day spitting them out gulping in spitting em out.
