It's funny that they are hard to get coming from Peru.

I agree PP, let it dry completely. I'd even soak it afterwards for a month or so to make sure any dried sap/toxins leach out.

Yeah, you'd think they would get imported more. They actually could be, its just most importers don't get them. They are on the lists all the time as 'Star Pikes'...haha.

Not sure about the soaking thing, its going to be hard enough to get it into the 300gal...lol. Maybe in my in-law pond. We'll see. Its relatively dry already though. Snaps pretty easily.

BTW...none of the Oak trees have leaves on them any more. Guess will have to find some on the ground. Any good sources for buying Oak/Almond leaves?
