Some pics of my current lents. The pink body color is somewhat deceiving. It is due to the tank lighting. The fin color is correct though. Lots of nice color for such young fish.

Trust me, the lents kick ass on everything. I used to have 6 of the Xingu I. Now I have just two. ;)

Well the thickness ratio of the lent to the xingu I is 2:1 or so..maybe even 3:1...haha. Definately beefcakes. Are you powerfeeding them? Get them on some NLS so you can pump up those reds and pinks! :D

Sup guys; How much do these particular pike go for? Would they be fine with Pbass? Does anyone have a pic of an adult. So if I derailed but I think these are really cool looking fish. Anyway like I said NICE FISH...

I got mine at an exceptionally good price... $25 a pop. Typically they have been going for $75 to $125 ea. Jeff Rapps has them for $75 ea. at the moment.

For some awesome adult pics, look here:

Those are just some nice lenticulata pictures, but there are many many more out there! Just look up Crenicichla lenticulata for a pleuthora of pictures! Great times! They would do awesome with pbass, as they both get large, have the same requirements and the like. you'll just have to watch aggression and growth rates, as both species have very large mouths...;)

Scat ~ wonderin what size your Lents are & how many did ya get? Really nice coloration + markings. What area/river are they from? I've noticed there can be subtle variations in color/markings depending on source. Saw some like yours on WW a while ago - the same? It'll be great if you end up with a compatible pair, even if they never breed I think 'bonded' Pike pairs are the most interesting & fun to keep.... best colors and activity. Enjoy!!!
