Cr. lenticulata

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Peanut_Power, my lenticulata only feeds on live food and market shrimp. How can I get her to accept NLS or any pellet food? This will give her a varied diet and improve coloration. She's already around 9 inches from tip to tip.

Thank you.

man those are gorgeous

That is an awesome Pike!!

Sorry to derail: How large do the females get? How do they compare to Johannas as far as aggression?

I had 4 female C. lenticulata from the Rio Negro ( looked just like Peanut Power's avatar) that ranged in size from 12-14" SL. They would scrap among themselves but left almost everything else alone. Tankmates included big plecos, H. psittacus, Red hooks, Aequidens pallidus, Megladoras, severums and a bunch of stuff I can't remember.

It broke my heart, but I eventually sold them off (can't breed 4 females). I replaced them with a nice pair of tapajos reds. Before you ask- I don't have a digital camera

I remember when you were sellin them......I think I wanted to buy them, but back then I was skimpy on my money and couldn't consider spending over $100 on a fish...let alone gettin one shipped to me. I am STILL kickin myself for that, as they were extrodinary! They were and still are the best lents. i have ever seen. Hands down.
