I just saw these on Fishfarm's stock list; what are they like? I read they are relatively peaceful. I am probably going to get an escondido carpintis from him once I get my 75 set up.

Not too aggressive, as pikes go. I have the pair that spawned the ones that Ken is selling. They spawned in a community 125, but they are now in a 90 with a young pair of Geophagus sp. "Bahia red". They are enthusiastic eaters, and they do sometimes show the same sort of aggressive behavior you'd expect from any cichlids. I'm not sure whether they would be able to handle an escondido at adult sizes, so I'd watch carefully if you put them together.
