That says menezesi are peaceful, relatively. Thats why I thought it would be better if kept with my GT.

i went with the menezesi because it only gets about 8 inches. my last pike was a monster. he was about 14-15 inches before he passed.

well i just got the little fella today, he is a baby. only about 1.5 inches.

im not shure what other fish i may put in with it yet. my old pike was so big i had to keep him by himself. i might do the same with this little guy. i only have a 20 gal tank for him at the moment. the 75gal tank is in storage, witch i plan on getting on tanksgiving weekend. i think im going to put him in my 40 gal breeder, and put my africans in the 75. thats why i wanted a small pike. my cousin had a small (7 inch) pike for years in a 55 gal with all kinds of other fish. he never had a problem.
